Seeking Software Engineers to work on a variety of web, data processing, and automation applications depending on the current business needs. The ideal candidates for these positions must have a good understanding of overall PHP programming techniques, C/C++, Perl, and SQL, as they will be working with other developers to complete projects on a relatively short time cycle. As part of their job responsibilities, the candidates will be working with a project lead to determine project priorities, and then work autonomously to achieve the project's objectives. Comfort with Linux/Unix is important, as that is the primary software development and deployment platform. Finally, being able to write and debug SQL queries will be considered a plus.

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL and PHP skills.
• Good C, C++, and Perl skills.
• Must be able to write and debug SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Subversion.
• Familiarity with Linux environment.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles.
• Able to solve complex problems.
• Can produce documentation of concept including flow charts and API specifications.

Beneficial Skills:

• Knowledge of Ruby, XML-RPC, mySQL.
• Familiarity with setting up, using, and extending PHP-based CMS systems such as Drupal and Joomla.
• Familiarity of Apache.
• Understanding of networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields.

Prior Experience:

• Even though it is not required, a 1-2 years of prior experience will be considered a plus.
